Aufgewachsen in der letzten Diktatur Europas: Mut, Schmerz und Hoffnung – Der Kampf um Freiheit in Belarus
Viktoryia Andrukovič & Carsten Görig
Viktoryia Andrukovič is a Belarusian human rights defender and political activist, born in 1994, when Lukashenka's regime came to power. She knows her homeland only under the yoke of an increasingly autocratic regime, her life only between the deprivations and threats of childhood and youth in Belarus and the hope for a better, a free future for her country. Before and after the 2020 presidential election, she was active in the opposition and today works with Belarusian organizations in exile.
Now she tells her story, the story of a generation of Belarusians born and raised under dictatorship, a story of fear and persecution, of hope and the struggle for a free Belarus, for human rights and democracy against oppression and violence.
